Our Story
Day By Day is an apparel and lifestyle brand rooted in the belief that mental health and well-being should be a priority and discussed openly in our communities. Born out of the founder’s desperate need for self care and personal growth, and the desire to share learnings and experiences with those who are feeling the same. Day By Day wants to support positive change by making products of comfort for everybody on their wellness journey. Through our platform and products, our vision is to build a lifestyle of well-being, so that everyone can find comfort and freedom in being their most authentic selves.

Our studio is based out of Vancouver, BC, on the land of the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples: Squamish, Tseil-Waututh, and Musqueum nations.
Meet Eugenie, DAY BY DAY Founder
Eugenie is a second generation Taiwanese Canadian with a background in the apparel industry as a fashion designer, fit model, and entrepreneur. After many years of quietly struggling with suppressed grief, trauma and mental illness, Eugenie started Day By Day as a way to share with others her recovery journey, to create a safe place for community support, and to destigmatize and promote mental health education and wellness through the brand platform and its products. Knowing how important it is to have an environment of comfort to heal and do self work, Eugenie hopes her products can help build a lifestyle of well-being for everyone on their journey, including herself!

We, at Day By Day, aren’t only passionate about advocating for better mental health, we also believe in advocating for gender and racial equality, women’s rights, as well as wildlife conservation and climate action. As a startup small business, a lot of things are out of our capacity at this moment, but we’re committed to giving back to those who are most vulnerable and discriminated against in our society.
We want to build a solid foundation of care throughout our business practices. Here’s how we’ll do it:
